Rosedale Farmers Market is a 501(c)3 non-profit. The mission of our market is to create a low-cost, accessible place for Rosedale residents to learn about and purchase healthy food.
Rosedale Farmers Market began in 2009 as a collaboration between church and community gardens. It has since grown to include a dozen local farmers, bakers, jam-and-sauce-makers, and crafters, all committed to our mission of bringing fresh, affordable, healthy food to the Rosedale neighborhood of Kansas City, KS. Join your friends and neighbors at Rosedale Farmers Market every Sunday from mid-May to the end of September between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In accordance with our mission, Rosedale Farmers Market participates in the Double Up Food Bucks, which doubles all EBT/SNAP and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) transactions. We are a distribution site for SFMNP vouchers, which are released in June.
